Burger King's 'Million Dollar Whopper' finalists: How to try and vote on your favorite

Burger King has put customers to the ultimate (taste) test, allowing them to try three reimagined Whopper sandwiches and ultimately crown a "Million Dollar Whopper Contest" winner.
The contest was first announced by the fast food chain in January, which gave customers the opportunity to design their "dream" Whopper with any toppings, sweet or salty, to compete for a chance to win $1 million and see the custom creation offered at Burger King restaurants nationwide for a limited time. Contest submissions for the "Million Dollar Whopper" officially closed a couple months later.
Three finalists and their take on the signature hamburger: Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper and the Mexican Street Corn Whopper, were later chosen from more than one million customer submissions, Burger King said in a news release.
Customers at participating Burger King locations will get the chance to taste test and vote for their favorite custom Whopper creation starting Thursday, Nov. 14.
"We can’t wait to hear how Guests think these three new creations stack up to the classic and look forward to them ultimately crowning the winner of the $1 million grand prize," Pat O'Toole, marketing executive at Burger King North American, said in the news release.

When to try Burger King's 'Million Dollar Whopper Contest' creations
Burger King's "Million Dollar Whopper Contest" creations will be available for purchase starting Thursday, Nov. 14 at select restaurant locations across the country, while supplies last.
Burger King customers are asked to place their vote for their favorite Whopper sandwich online by scanning the QR code on the wrappers, which will redirect you to either the Burger King app or website, with your mobile device. Votes can be placed starting at 10:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 14 until 10 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 5.
Burger King reveals 'Million Dollar Whopper Contest' finalists
All three Burger King finalists offered "innovative takes on the flagship sandwich," incorporating traditionally savory or sweet elements to create their version of a "dream" Whopper. Two of the finalists chosen are from California and the third finalist hails from Nebraska, Burger King said.
The three "Million Dollar Whopper Contest" finalists include:
- Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper: Features one fourth pound flame-grilled beef patty, topped with creamy pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese on a toasted sesame seed bun. Fabian from California came up with the idea for the "Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper."
- Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper: Features one fourth pound flame-grilled beef patty, topped with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions and jalapeños, smoky maple candied bacon, and American cheese on a toasted sesame seed bun. Calvin from California came up with idea for the "Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper."
- Mexican Street Corn Whopper: Features one fourth pound flame-grilled beef patty, topped with creamy street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, crunchy tortilla crisps, and spicy queso on a toasted sesame seed bun. Kelsie from Nebraska came up with the idea for the "Mexican Street Corn Whopper."
